- Present Vor Frue incorporates remains of an older travertine and fieldstone church; crypt ruin excavated 1955 under the choir.
- Second half of the 1200s building phase: new brick choir; in the foundation of the east gable was placed a fine runestone from c. year 1000 — Århussten 5.
- In all, four runestones have been found among the monastery’s foundation stones over time.
